24 credits are required for graduation at Marshall High School.
The breakdown of requirements is as follows for the class of 2022+:
- 4 credits English: 8 semesters- English 9 (1 credit), English 10 (1 credit) and English 11 (1 credit) are required classes. AP English can be taken in lieu of English 11.
- 3 credits Mathmatics: 6 semesters
- 3 credits Science: 6 semesters- Science 9 (1 credit) and Human Biology (.5 credit) are required.
- 3 credits Social Studies: 6 semesters- American History (1 credit) and Governement (.5 credit) are required.
- 1.5 credits Physical Education: 3 semesters- Physical Education must be taken at least one semester in 3/4 years of high school. Students may not subsitute varsity athletic competition in lieu of Phy. Ed. requirements.
- .5 credits Health: 1 semester- sophomore year
- .5 credits Personal Financial Literacy: 1 semester- sophomore year
- 8.5 credits of Electives or more
